Slot Summary

Holly Roger leads an all-female pirate crew through 9 Skulls of Gold, Buck Stakes Entertainment's treasure-hunting slot. Its distinctive touch is that ordinary symbol combinations can award more play as well as money. The hunt therefore continues between bonus triggers, with extra spins entering the base game and a wheel setting the terms of the separate free-spin round.

Features & Win Potential

Golden skull symbols change their reward according to the mode and the number showing. Three or four award spins in the base game; five or more pay cash. During free spins, cash awards start from three.

Wilds can complete ordinary symbol combinations, but they do not replace scatters or golden skull symbols. They also have their own payouts, so an eligible wild combination can pay directly.

Bonus & Free Spins

Three scatters on the middle reels activate the Bonus Wheel before free spins begin. The wheel determines the spin award and its multiplier. That multiplier applies to ordinary bonus wins, while golden skull cash prizes are paid separately without that boost.

How this works

Each simulated spin either misses or returns a win drawn from a log-normal distribution, with the hit rate and spread set by the slot's volatility tier (High). The model is calibrated so the average return equals this slot's published RTP (96.33%), with wins capped at its top multiplier (2,000×).

This is a simplified, parametric model of the game's math — not its real paytable. It exists to make the house edge visible over many sessions, so the numbers above are averages across thousands of runs, never a forecast of one.

This is math, not a prediction. Real sessions vary wildly, and no strategy changes a game's built-in house edge. Play for fun, set limits, and never bet more than you can afford to lose.

01What do Golden Scatters contribute in 9 Skulls of Gold?

Golden Scatters collect in a treasure chest during base play. When the bonus begins, the chest can add up to five free spins to the wheel's award.

02Can the free-spin round retrigger?

Yes. Landing three scatters during free spins awards another set of spins matching the number originally granted by the Bonus Wheel.

03Is 9 Skulls of Gold highly volatile?

9 Skulls of Gold has high volatility. Extra-spin awards do not guarantee a smooth balance, because their subsequent results still depend on the symbols that land.
