Slot Summary

A comic Las Vegas take on the expanding-symbol book format is Book of Sam's particular niche. ELK Studios gives Sam, Sandra, and Maggie separate ways to interrupt the reel game when they form a win. The family cast therefore supplies both the vacation story and the changes to play.

How It Plays

A winning combination involving Sam places a book symbol at a random position. The added book has a dual purpose, acting as both a wild and a bonus symbol.

Sandra's winning combinations award a respin with a higher multiplier. Maggie instead removes low-value symbols, the cat, and her own symbols, allowing new symbols to drop into the cleared positions.

Theme & Atmosphere

Sam's interest in all-you-can-eat buffets and Sandra's taste for oversized cocktails explain the Las Vegas trip. Their vacation gives the setting a comic, everyday starting point.

A last-minute cancellation by the babysitter means Maggie joins her parents. That domestic complication supplies the family-vacation premise and explains why all three characters share the spotlight.

Bonus & Free Spins

At least 3 book symbols trigger 8 free spins with up to 3 expanding symbols. Retriggering awards another 4 spins and adds a further expanding symbol to the round.

How this works

Each simulated spin either misses or returns a win drawn from a log-normal distribution, with the hit rate and spread set by the slot's volatility tier (High). The model is calibrated so the average return equals this slot's published RTP (94.00%), with wins capped at its top multiplier (10,000×).

This is a simplified, parametric model of the game's math — not its real paytable. It exists to make the house edge visible over many sessions, so the numbers above are averages across thousands of runs, never a forecast of one.

This is math, not a prediction. Real sessions vary wildly, and no strategy changes a game's built-in house edge. Play for fun, set limits, and never bet more than you can afford to lose.
