Slot Summary

For a wildlife slot where the featured animal can gradually take over the symbol set, Buffalo on Fire! supplies a specific objective: reach the golden buffalo. Red Rake Gaming connects its burning stampede imagery to a collection meter, making the animal's increasing importance visible in both the setting and the bonus.

How It Plays

Winning combinations run across consecutive reels from left to right. Wilds assist ordinary symbol combinations, while Bonus symbols have their own trigger rule and cannot be replaced by wilds.

Buffalo Burning Run can intervene while the reels spin, adding buffalo symbols at random. This event operates in the base game as well as during the free-spins feature.

Features & Win Potential

During free spins, wilds can receive multipliers of x2 or x3. When multiple multiplier wilds participate in the same winning way, their values multiply together for that award.

Filling the collection bar changes the available symbols: middle symbols and ordinary buffalo become golden buffalo. A subsequent Burning Run then adds the golden version of the animal.

Bonus & Free Spins

The coin minigame comes before free spins. Triggering Bonus symbols become held coins, and newly arriving coins remain in place while resetting the available attempts. The collected total initializes the feature bar.

Three, four, or five triggering Bonus symbols award ten, fifteen, or twenty free spins respectively. Buffalo carrying coins can then increase the bar, and further Bonus symbols can extend the round.

How this works

Each simulated spin either misses or returns a win drawn from a log-normal distribution, with the hit rate and spread set by the slot's volatility tier (High). The model is calibrated so the average return equals this slot's published RTP (95.30%), with wins capped at its top multiplier (41,620×).

This is a simplified, parametric model of the game's math — not its real paytable. It exists to make the house edge visible over many sessions, so the numbers above are averages across thousands of runs, never a forecast of one.

This is math, not a prediction. Real sessions vary wildly, and no strategy changes a game's built-in house edge. Play for fun, set limits, and never bet more than you can afford to lose.
