Three matching gems in an obelisk unlock Magic of the Nile's defining feature spin. IGT divides the collection system by color: green creates Random Wilds, red expands the reel set, and blue turns Wilds into 2x multipliers. The counters persist separately at each bet level, making accumulated gem state more important than the game's conventional 5x3, 30-line foundation.

How It Plays

The base game uses 30 paylines, but the continuing task is watching scarabs on reels 2 and 4. Each qualifying scarab awards colored gems to the matching obelisk.

Progress is stored separately for each stake option, so changing the bet also changes which saved gem state is visible. Several completed colors can activate together.

Theme & Atmosphere

Ancient Egypt provides more than surface decoration because the obelisks visibly record the collected gems. Scarabs, royal figures, and sacred Animals connect the mechanic to Egyptian Mythology.

Magic enters through the color-coded monuments and their transformations. The setting therefore explains why the reel set can expand or suddenly fill with altered Wild Symbols.
