Slot Summary

Complex bonus routing is the appeal for players who prefer several collection targets over a single free-spins path. Big Bad Buffalo: Thunderstruck runs 1024 ways, then splits its feature play between lightning scatters, buffalo coin scatters, two Loot Link modes, and optional Power Bets. High 5 Games ties those systems to a Wild West thunderstorm setting, so the buffalo theme guides the separate collection rules rather than serving as simple decoration.

How It Plays

One collection route begins when a buffalo collector lands, opening 2 spins in which lightning scatters are gathered for an accumulated payout.

A separate route counts buffalo coin scatters toward the top row. Filling that row ends the collection by paying the total value gathered there.

Theme & Atmosphere

Buffalo, Animals, and Wild West imagery identify the two collection routes, allowing the main symbols to explain which meter or feature receives each result.

The Thunderstorm theme is functional as well as visual because lightning scatters feed one collection, while buffalo coins control the other path.

Features & Win Potential

Two Bonus Bet choices alter access to the collection systems, and a combined option applies both changes for a larger total stake.

Scatter Symbols do more than trigger one Bonus Game. Separate lightning and buffalo variants feed different collection rules, while Fixed Jackpots sit among the possible feature outcomes.

Bonus & Free Spins

The Bonus Buy offers direct access to bonus play, while the two Bonus Bet choices modify how the scatter-driven collection systems enter ordinary spins.

How this works

Each simulated spin either misses or returns a win drawn from a log-normal distribution, with the hit rate and spread set by the slot's volatility tier (Medium). The model is calibrated so the average return equals this slot's published RTP (96.00%), with wins capped at its top multiplier (1,000×).

This is a simplified, parametric model of the game's math — not its real paytable. It exists to make the house edge visible over many sessions, so the numbers above are averages across thousands of runs, never a forecast of one.

This is math, not a prediction. Real sessions vary wildly, and no strategy changes a game's built-in house edge. Play for fun, set limits, and never bet more than you can afford to lose.
