Midas Golden Touch began in 2019 as Thunderkick's 5x3, 15-payline mythology line, fixing sticky wild respins, free spins and multipliers as its mechanical foundation. Midas Golden Touch paired that structure with a 10,100x ceiling, giving the gold-touch theme a high-volatility collection loop rather than treating it as decoration.

Midas Golden Touch Christmas Edition extended the line in 2023 without rebuilding it. The 5x3 grid, 15 paylines and 10,100x ceiling remained, while bonus buying and additional free spins turned the original into a seasonal branch with more direct access to its feature round.
Midas Golden Touch 2 made the substantial mechanical change in 2024. It raised the ceiling to 15,000x and added wild multipliers, symbol collection and a locked-win respin element, increasing the importance of persistent symbols rather than relying only on the original sticky-wild pattern.
Midas Golden Touch 3 pushed the ceiling again in 2025, this time to 20,000x, while retaining multipliers, respins, scatters and bonus access on the same 5x3, 15-line base. Across the series, the grid barely moves. The evolution comes from making collected and locked symbols more consequential, then placing a progressively larger reward ceiling above that familiar structure.
