Slot Summary

Playtech's first move into the mines format replaces reel spinning with repeated choices across a configurable field. Mine-a-Licious asks the player to uncover diamonds, stop before exposing a mine, and balance each additional selection against a rising return. Three board sizes change the decision space, while the 10,000x catalog ceiling gives the risk ladder a substantial endpoint.
MechanicsEach safe diamond raises the available multiplier

How It Plays

Before a round, the player selects a field size and chooses how many mines will be hidden. More mines make every unopened tile a sharper risk decision.

A revealed diamond keeps the round alive and increases the available return. Revealing a mine immediately ends the attempt, so collecting early competes with opening another tile.

Theme & Atmosphere

Mine and Treasure ideas are functional rather than decorative: safe Gems represent value, while concealed mines provide the consequence attached to every selection.

The underground subject makes the risk legible without reels or paylines. Each covered position carries the same visual question until its contents are revealed.

Running simulation…
How this works

Each simulated spin either misses or returns a win drawn from a log-normal distribution, with the hit rate and spread set by the slot's volatility tier (Medium). The model is calibrated so the average return equals this slot's published RTP (97.20%), with wins capped at its top multiplier (10,000×).

This is a simplified, parametric model of the game's math — not its real paytable. It exists to make the house edge visible over many sessions, so the numbers above are averages across thousands of runs, never a forecast of one.

This is math, not a prediction. Real sessions vary wildly, and no strategy changes a game's built-in house edge. Play for fun, set limits, and never bet more than you can afford to lose.
