Wild Toro series: one walking wild across changing reel sets
Unlike a conventional sequel line that preserves its grid, ELK Studios' Wild Toro series keeps the bull-themed wild as its identity while rebuilding the reel structure around it. Wild Toro established the formula in 2016 on a 5x4 layout with 178 ways, where walking wilds and respins supplied the movement and the maximum stopped at 2,250x.

Wild Toro 2 made the decisive mechanical turn in 2021. The grid contracted to 5x3 but increased to 259 ways, while colossal reels, changing reel sets, sticky walking wilds, and bonus access added more states to the respin cycle. Its 10,000x maximum is substantially higher, although its listed RTP is lower at 95% against the original's 96.4%.
Wild Toro 3 moves the series into Wild West imagery and keeps a wild symbol at the center. The established mechanical arc therefore rests on the first two releases: the original used a roaming bull to animate a broad 5x4 screen, while the sequel compressed the grid and made reel changes, persistence, and a higher ceiling carry more of the risk.
