Lucky Leprechaun series: from paylines to scratch and cluster play
The Lucky Leprechaun line began in 2015 with Lucky Leprechaun, a Games Global release that fixed the franchise's Irish symbols, free spins and multiplier play inside a 5x3, 20-payline slot. Its medium-volatility model, 96.33% RTP and 5,000x maximum win established a conventional reel game before later entries changed the format.

Lucky Leprechaun Scratch compressed that idea into a 3x3 presentation in 2019. The theme remained tied to clovers, rainbows and its leprechaun character, but the 750x maximum reduced the reward ceiling sharply. This is the stripped-down branch of the series, not a mechanically larger sequel.
Lucky Leprechaun Clusters rebuilt the formula in 2022 on a 7x7 grid with cluster pays and cascading wins. High volatility replaced the earlier medium profile, while symbol collection, random multipliers, extra wilds and symbol swaps made consecutive reactions more important than fixed paylines.
The three formats serve different appetites despite sharing the same visual code. The original offers the highest listed ceiling and familiar line play, Scratch favors a compact screen, and Clusters supplies the busiest risk loop through cascades and collection mechanics. The franchise grew by replacing its win system each time, not by merely adding another Irish skin.
