Legion Gold series: Play'n Go's expanding-symbol battle line
The Legion Gold series is Play'n Go's Roman-warrior franchise, built on a 5x3, 25-payline frame with oversized symbols, respins and bonus rounds. The original sets a medium-volatility, 2,000x model; later entries retain the same reel geometry while increasing the ceiling to 3,000x, 4,000x and eventually 10,000x. Legion Gold established the tiger, legionary and ancient-war visual code in 2022. Colossal 3x3 symbols linked its Hold and Win feature to the main grid, while free spins and multipliers added a second reward route. Legion Gold Unleashed kept the 25-line structure in 2024, added Hold and Spin and cash collection, and raised the maximum from 2,000x to 3,000x.
