Fire in the Hole series: how the mine keeps widening
Unlike a routine reskin, NoLimit City's Fire in the Hole series treats each return to the mine as a mathematical rebuild: 486 ways became 46,656, the grid grew from 6x3 to 6x4, and the maximum win rose from 60,000x to 70,000x. Reel-set changes and bonus escalation matter as much as the miners, bombs and underground setting.

The first blast set the pressure
Fire in the Hole established the high-volatility foundation in 2021 with six reels, 486 ways, cascading wins, expanding reels and reel modifiers. Bonus Buy and extra free spins provide access and extension, but the defining tension comes from a changing reel set carrying a 60,000x maximum.
Fire in the Hole 2 rebuilt that frame in 2024 around 46,656 ways and a 65,000x cap. Symbol upgrades, splitting symbols, expanding wilds, Hold and Spin and a cash collector give the bonus more interacting parts. Fire in the Hole 3 enlarged the base grid to 6x4 in 2025, retained 46,656 ways and raised the maximum to 70,000x, with free-spin multipliers and random multipliers taking greater control of the ceiling.
