Diamonds Series: How Playson expanded its Hold and Win foundation
Playson's Diamonds series began in 2023 with Diamonds Power: Hold and Win, which fixed the line around a compact 3x3 screen, five paylines and bonus-symbol respins. Wilds, fixed jackpots and a Dream Drop jackpot layer give the medium-volatility original a concentrated structure: a small base game feeding a Hold and Win round rather than a large reel engine.

Diamonds Power XXL: Hold and Win grows that foundation to 5x4 and 15 paylines. It retains respins, fixed jackpots and the Hold and Win bonus, then adds multipliers and additive symbols within a 1,000x ceiling. XXL therefore changes more than screen size: the original concentrates value in a sparse three-reel setup, while the follow-up creates more room for bonus values to combine and build.
