CherryPop began in 2020 by setting AvatarUX's PopWins formula inside a neon-fruit slot: wins cascade, the reel set changes, and payouts can run in both directions. Its expanding structure reaches 59,049 ways and a listed 56,386x ceiling, fixing both the visual code and the escalating-reel behavior that later entries would rework.

CherryPop Deluxe narrowed the base to 243 ways in 2022 and lowered the ceiling to 20,000x, but retained cascades, PopWins, pay-both-ways evaluation and a changing reel set. Reel modifiers and a gamble option make Deluxe a variation on the original engine rather than a straight ceiling increase.
Toxic CherryPop changed the risk profile in 2024. It uses medium volatility, multiple reel sets and 59,049 ways, with a 40,000x maximum and extra free spins. CherryPop Burst made the larger structural move in 2025 by switching to a 5x5 board and adding Pay Anywhere wins, a bonus wheel, cash collection and random multipliers under a 20,000x cap.
The constant is expanding or changing reel behavior wrapped in bright fruit symbols; the changing element is how each release converts that growth into wins. The original carries the largest listed ceiling, Deluxe tightens the framework, Toxic moderates volatility while preserving a large ways count, and Burst replaces the earlier geometry with a square Pay Anywhere format.
