Cash Strike series: Blueprint Gaming expands a five-line bonus idea
A high-volatility, five-payline fruit game set the Cash Strike series in motion for Blueprint Gaming in March 2024. The founding Cash Strike used a 5x3 layout, a separate bonus game and a 1,000x maximum, establishing a deliberately compact base that later releases could stretch through collectors, jackpots and larger win systems.

Cash Strike Power 5 preserved the five-line frame in 2024 but added a cash collector and bonus bet, with the upper bet limit rising from 50 to 250. The line then changed scale through Cash Strike Hotstepper Megaways in 2025: six reels, 125 ways, additional free spins, fixed jackpots and a 5,000x maximum moved Cash Strike beyond its low-line origin.
Other branches tightened the screen while increasing feature density. Power Up centered on respins, fixed jackpots and a collector; Triple Fire used a 3x3 grid with multipliers, sticky additions and energy collection. Cash Strike Hotstepper 2 returned to five paylines but paired them with hold-and-win play, mystery symbols and a 10,000x ceiling. Cash Strike X Cash reaches the same ceiling through free spins, expanding reels and a mystery-symbol collector package.
Blueprint's recurring signals
- Visual shorthand: fruit, fire, stars and cash symbols keep the base screen readable.
- Compact lines: five-payline formats remain a recurring reference point even as Megaways and cascading versions appear.
- Collection layer: cash collectors, bonus symbols and fixed jackpots drive most sequel branches.
- Optional pressure: bonus bets recur in the feature-heavy entries, increasing direct access to their bonus systems.
Cash Strike grows by alternating expansion and compression. Hotstepper Megaways broadens the win map; Triple Fire compresses it to 3x3; Hotstepper 2 and X Cash keep simple line structures while raising the maximum to 10,000x. Power Force 5 Megaways adds cascades and avalanche behavior, showing that the name now identifies a cash-bonus framework rather than one fixed reel arrangement.
The expansion points
- Cash Strike: establishes the high-volatility, five-line fruit base with a 1,000x maximum.
- Power 5: adds the collector and bonus-bet tools without changing the five-line foundation.
- Hotstepper Megaways: shifts to six reels, 125 ways, free spins and a 5,000x maximum.
- Hotstepper 2 and X Cash: bring the ceiling to 10,000x through different hold-and-win and expanding-reel routes.
