The Buffalo King series is Pragmatic Play's high-volatility buffalo franchise, built on wide reel sets, free spins and multiplier wilds. Buffalo King established that formula in 2019 on a 6x4 grid with 4,096 ways and a 93,750x maximum, making the original the series' highest listed ceiling despite its simpler fixed grid.

Buffalo King Megaways changed the reel behavior in 2021. Its 6x7 layout supports up to 200,704 ways, with cascading wins, changing symbols during the feature and bonus buy access. The tradeoff is a much lower 5,000x cap, so the Megaways conversion adds event frequency and reel variation rather than straightforward ceiling growth.
Buffalo King Untamed Megaways adjusted the formula again in 2024, using up to 86,436 ways with expanding and dynamic reels, extra free spins and a 10,000x maximum. It remains high volatility but places more pressure on reel expansion and bonus extension than the first Megaways version.
