Big Catch Bass Fishing set the 2023 foundation with a 5x3 grid, 10 paylines, a cash collector, pick bonus, progressive jackpot and a 10,000x maximum. Big Catch Bass Fishing Megaways followed by replacing the fixed-line screen with a 6x7 variable-reel format. Hold-and-spin, mystery symbols and fixed jackpots made it a more feature-heavy, high-volatility branch rather than a wider copy of the first game.

The Christmas edition preserved the original 5x3, 10-line frame but added increasing multipliers and multi-level bonuses. Big Catch Even Bigger Bass made the structural break to 4,096 ways, while Big Catch Even Bigger Bass 2 kept that format and added respins, expanding symbols and a 2,500x maximum. The sequel line therefore changed how wins connect before it changed the fishing premise.

Big Catch Bass Fishing Win Stepper is the outlier: a 3x3 grid with five paylines, nudges, sticky symbols and a 6,235x maximum. Big Catch Even Bigger Bass 3 moves in the opposite direction, widening the game to 16,525 ways and restoring a 10,000x ceiling under a high-volatility profile.

How the catch grew

1. Bass Fishing: the 10-line collector foundation with free spins, picks and a progressive layer.

Big Catch Even Bigger Bass 3 makes the series' design logic clearest. Blueprint keeps the collector recognizable, then changes how much screen space and volatility surround it. The result is not one fishing slot repeated with new artwork, but several distinct pacing models sharing the same catch-and-collect core.
