Ashoka began in 2023, when ELK Studios fixed the franchise around Asian warrior imagery, symbol collection and oversized symbols. Ashoka used a 6x6 pay-anywhere grid with avalanches, sticky wilds and a 3x3 mega symbol. Its medium-high volatility and 25,000x maximum paired a broad play area with an energy-collection loop rather than conventional paylines.
