Andrew Dixon, Noel Hayden, and Robin Tombs starting Gamesys Group in 2001 in London It bought Virgin Games in 2013 and sold Jackpotjoy brand to The Intertain Group in 2015. From Jackpotjoy PLC to JPJ Group PLC in 2018 and subsequently Gamesys Group PLC, the company had several rebrandings. October 2021 saw Gamesys bought by American casino operator Bally's Corporation. Operating brands including Jackpotjoy, Virgin Games, and Monopoly Casino, Gamesys employs almost 900 people. Its net income in 2020 was £67.2 million and its revenues came at £727.7 million.
