Demo Embedding Terms

These Demo Embedding Terms (the "Terms") govern the authorization a verified game studio (the "Studio") grants to Slotranker.com ("Slotranker", "we") to embed and host playable, free-to-play (demo) versions of the Studio's games on Slotranker.com and in the embeddable Slotranker score widgets. By ticking the acceptance box in your studio cabinet, an authorized representative of the Studio agrees to these Terms on the Studio's behalf.

1. Authorization & Warranty

By accepting these Terms, you confirm and warrant that you are duly authorized to represent the Studio and to grant the permissions described here, and that the Studio holds all rights necessary to authorize Slotranker to embed the demo versions of its games. This authorization is the basis on which Slotranker embeds the Studio's demos; Slotranker relies on this warranty rather than conducting an independent mandate check.

2. Blanket Coverage with Per-Game Opt-Out

Acceptance authorizes Slotranker to embed the demo versions of all of the Studio's games on a blanket basis. The Studio may, at any time, opt any individual game out of demo embedding from within its studio cabinet. A per-game opt-out takes effect immediately and removes that game's demo from both the on-site game page and the embeddable widgets.

3. Revocation Window

The Studio may withdraw its blanket authorization (revoke consent for all of its games) within a fixed window of thirty (30) days from the date of acceptance, from within its studio cabinet. After this window, blanket authorization continues, and the Studio's remedy is the per-game opt-out above or a written request to Slotranker. This fixed 30-day window is a term of this agreement and is stated here before acceptance.

4. Removal on Notice

Independently of the Studio's opt-out and revocation rights, Slotranker will remove a game's demo following a written cease-and-desist or a substantiated complaint, typically within forty-eight (48) hours, and may add such a game to its demo-block list. Slotranker may also decline to embed, or remove, any demo at its discretion.

5. No Effect on Scoring or Ranking

Authorizing demo embedding does not affect, and is entirely separate from, Slotranker's Slot Score, Provider Score, or any ranking. Slotranker's scores are computed by Slotranker alone, using one formula for all, and are never influenced by a studio's participation, consent, or commercial relationship.

6. Data & Privacy

To record this authorization, Slotranker stores a minimal audit record of each acceptance: the accepting member's account, the date and time, the source IP address, the studio contact email, and the Terms version accepted. The legal basis for this processing is the performance of this agreement. This data is retained for the life of the consent and for six (6) years after its revocation or the closure of the related claim, after which it is deleted. See our Privacy Policy for more detail.

7. Changes to These Terms

Slotranker may update these Terms and will indicate the change with a new Terms version. A material change requires the Studio to re-accept the updated Terms before continued embedding under the updated authorization.
